We have an ever growing range of implements serviced and maintained by ourselves. Although some of our customers prefer to use there own implements which isn't a problem to us as we only ever have capable and experienced operators on our team.
We also carry out tree surgery and sell solid fuel logs which Geoff started way back in the late 80's. We have a vast knowledge of tree felling and forestry management. We offer free local delivery on our seasoned wood burning logs at unbeatable prices.
We offer a green waste removal service and are fortunate enough to have the space to offer a drop off option at our site were we can process the waste through one of our mulch machines for composting and various other applications.
We offer a tractor and driver service as we know what the busy periods can be like and how unpredictable farming can be. Machinery breaking down or just that last big push before the weather turns, what ever the reason you can rely on us. We are flexible and can be with you at short notice whether you require us for an hour or to complete your full harvest period. We endeavour to do our very best and accommodate you.
The Plaxton family have been farming at the village of Thearne near Beverley, East Yorkshire since the early 1800's.
The business is run by father and son Geoff and Paul Plaxton, so we have a fantastic mix of experience and up to date farming techniques.
We are a small family run farm that specialises in the growing of cereal crops and specialist grasses for the equestrian market our grass crops are short term to keep them healthy and clean.
We also carry out contract work on a small scale bringing you a more personalised and professional service.
